Our hair transplant procedure begins long before the actual surgical procedure. First, we educate our patients on all the decision-making processes involved in the restoration process. We cover all aspects of the procedure so our patients know exactly what is going to happen. Our main, over-arching concern is that our patients know exactly what is going to happen during their hair transplant . A series of photographs and notes are taken to determine the design of the new hairline and the placement of grafts.
A simple list of pre-op instructions is given a week before the operation. On the day of the surgery, the patient is made comfortable with medications, sedation and local anesthesia to ensure a pain-free experience. The surgeon and technical staff administer these medications, escort the patient to an operating room and begin their work.
The photographs and notes determine how the grafts are placed. The technicians cut the donor strip into true folicular unit grafts while the surgeon harvests the strip and makes recipient sites on the patient. The team then implants the grafts into the recipient sites, and the procedure is complete.
The Capri hair restoration process does not differ from other hair transplants, but our level of service, dedication to craft and communication with our patients is far superior to the majority of big-name hair loss treatment providers.
Additionally, other hair restoration techniques may be used if required. Read on for a description of some of these other procedures if you need specific clarification.
