I started looking into the options and it didn't take long to realize that the only answer that would solve my problem permanently would be a transplant. I visited Bosley, MHR, Dr. Pistone and then the Capri Clinic. Although there were some similarities throughout, there was a stronger sense of down to earth honesty and personal care.
I felt at home and comfortable discussing my hair loss embarrassment with Jerry and his staff and was satisfied that I would end up with the solution I was looking for. I was surprised at the amount of attention the director, doctor and his technicians afforded me especially in the area of making my experience as pain free as they could. In fact, I barely remember the time I spent in the operating room and with the aftercare instruction, medication and personal contact the overall experience was a good one and if anyone that I know needs this kind of help I will definitely push them in the direction of Capri Clinic.
In addition it has been over a year since my procedure and I have hair to be jealous of.

Just a little note to thank Dr. Antonov, Jerry, Tim and the incredible staff at Capri Clinic for a great hair transplant that was performed as promised with out any pain. As you know I was very skeptical at first but you guys and gals told me everything would be done as planned.
I've had two transplant procedures with you at Capri. You, your staff and your surgeon are all first rate. You explained the process very well during the consultation and pre-op stages. The transplants were well done and a very natural look achieved. It's quite obvious that your whole group takes great pride in their work and professionalism. For me what sets you apart (from the national big name hair restoration practices) is your caring, your ability to communicate the process and your aftercare follow up.
I just want to thank You and the whole staff at the clinic for such a beautiful job on both of my procedures. My hair has grown in so nice I no longer wear my hats. It still amazes me how something so easily done could turn out so good.

First, thank you, Jerry, for asking me to give you my testimonial about my experience with your clinic. I will try to be as honest as you were when I asked you some embarrassing questions about my being bald. You see I can now even say the word bald because now I have a natural looking hairline and head of hair that is all mine permanently.
My hair loss started back in the 60's as a half dollar sized spot on my crown. As I grew older it grew bigger, moved forward and began eating away my hairline. My baldness became part of my identity that I could live with until the recent years when it became a real problem for me. I no longer had a hairline to hide behind. There was an occasional ridicule from those close to me and the age baldness ads all started to hurt and I know that my confidence and self esteem were draining.
I have a friend who had 5 or 6 rows of plugs that looked ridiculous and clown like and this kept me away from getting help. I have never written a testimonial before about anything, but this time I felt that it certainly warranted one.
I have always had a very thick full head of hair. Then in my mid 30's I started thinning in the crown area and it just kept getting thinner and larger. The rest of my hair looked the same as if I were 18 years old. Well needless to say it really was bothering me. I have been going to the same barber for about 20 years and I asked him what I could do. He said one word "transplant", he then went on to tell me that he cuts the hair of over 20 people who have had a hair transplant and as a matter of fact he also cuts the hair of the clinical director of where they had it done, and he recommended I call to make an appointment to get a professional opinion, which I did right from the barber shop. At the consult, I met with the clinical director. He examined my hair loss and gave me a step by step explanation of what I needed and what to expect. He was very honest and straight forward, which I really appreciated since after all this, was a surgical procedure and I was nervous. He assured me that every detail that he explained to me would happen exactly as he described it, especially the part about me not feeling any pain during the procedure. The surgical team that works at the Capri Clinic performed like a precision watch. It was amazing that everything I was told is exactly how it worked. I was so scared and it turned out to be a piece of cake.
That was 3 months ago and now my hair is starting to grow and I can see it and feel it (even though some hairs are grey). I will recommend The Capri Clinic without reservations. The whole crew is just wonderful.
